Introducing New Vocal Authority Team Member

In case you don’t read beyond the first paragraph, I am going to start with the really great news. If you are a fan of South Park, you will find this announcement even more exciting. Eliza Jane Schneider was part of the South Park team from 1999 to 2003, among many other things. Look her up on IMBD—she is a celebrity voice over artist and dialect coach. I am thrilled to announce that Eliza Jane and I are joining forces to provide our clients with superior coaching and a wider range of services. We will each continue to run our separate businesses and we will create opportunities to collaborate and share in order to provide our clients with the best possible results.

Eliza Jane and I met at the Voice and Speech Trainers Conference in Seattle this past August. We are fellow voice and speech geeks with a shared passion for helping professionals—attorneys, politicians, CEOs and sales teams—with transformational voice training that will forever alter their career path.

Her work with dialect management and clarification training is superior. I encourage anyone who has dialect questions or knows someone for whom dialect may be hindering professional progress to contact Eliza Jane directly and sign up for a 15-minute complimentary phone consultation.

We are meeting in Portland, OR in February to film a series of webinars. An on-line lunch and learn is coming soon. Watch for the announcement!

Sitting on the cusp between 2018 and 2019, I am looking in two directions. 2018 brought a TEDx talk; the publication of Empower your Voice: For Women in Business, Politics and Life; a podcast for New York Public Radio, United States of Anxiety, season 3, episode 9; attorney training in Boston for Primerus Law Firms; I was honored to coach 12 candidates running for office, many of won!

I am looking forward to 2019 with clarified goals for my business which is now 3 ½ years old. The learning curve has been steep. Coming from academics and theatre, I had no experience in business, finance, marketing, networking, social media or selling. With the help of excellent coaches—Robert Johnson & Bold Growth Strategies, Jessica Kinsey of Prodigy & Company, Amanda McKinney owner AM Marketing, Becky Fields and Lynette Potter), generous networking and accountability partners, I now have a viable business and I will turn a profit this year!

Happy New Year to all my friends and family who have supported and encouraged me. I remain committed to the mission of empowering voices with confidence and clarity. I leave you with this challenge: Remember to breathe deeply, speak your truth boldly and the world will listen.
